Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Marketo Studio collects when you use marketo.studio or contact us, why we collect it, who helps us process it and the choices you have. We keep it short and we only collect what we need to reply to you.

1. Who we are

Marketo Studio (“Marketo”, “we”, “us”) is a growth marketing agency operated by Marketo, registered at Sukabag, Bir, Himachal Pradesh 176077. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

For any privacy question or request, email hello@marketo.studio.

2. What we collect

When you fill in the contact or free growth audit form, we collect your name, work email, company name, website, your company's stage (if you choose one) and your message. We also record the time you sent it, give your request a reference number, such as MKT-7Q2K9D, and note how you found us: the campaign tags in the link you followed, the first page you saw and the website that sent you, if any.

When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

When you browse the site, we measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They record pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, country and page load speed, in aggregate. They do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records the pages you view, how you arrived (including campaign tags in links), your approximate location, device and browser, and actions such as sending a form or booking a call. It uses cookies and a random identifier, not your name or email. We keep a similar record in our own database (pages viewed, the campaign or site that sent you, device type, browser and country, with a random visitor ID and no IP address), deleted automatically after about 13 months. Decline and neither runs.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to your request, prepare your free growth audit and follow up about working together. We rely on your request (steps before a possible contract) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your request, with its reference number.
  • To understand which pages are useful and keep the site fast and secure (legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties if we go on to work together.

4. Marketing

We don't add you to a newsletter or marketing list because you filled in a form. If we launch a newsletter, we will only send it to people who sign up for it, and every email will have an unsubscribe link. We never sell your personal data.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:

  • Vercel: website hosting, analytics and speed measurement.
  • MongoDB Atlas: the database where form submissions are stored.
  • Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Resend: delivery of the notification and confirmation emails.
  • Our email provider: the mailbox where we read and answer your messages.

We may also share data if the law requires it, or with professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers store or process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognized by data protection law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

7. How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and related emails for [24 months] after our last contact, then delete them, unless we start working together, in which case we keep what our contract and the law require. Analytics are kept in aggregate only.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it, or delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • send it to you or another company in a portable format;
  • stop using it where we rely on your consent.

Email hello@marketo.studio and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions travel encrypted, and access to the database and inbox is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Cookies

We set analytics cookies only with your consent, and none for advertising. The Cookie Policy lists them and explains how to change your choice.

11. Children

Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
